So happy with this purchase ~ highly highly recommend

We live in a windy area and have cold rainy weather. This greenhouse has stood through 50mph winds w ping pong size hail storms! Lots of space to work. Perfect for home garden. Love 5his product. It does take some patients to put together - but worth it

You'll need AT LEAST a bottle of whiskey and some of god's tears before starting this project

And boy is it a PROJECT. I bought this for my mom, took me 5 days to put together. It was pretty simple and straight forward instructions. There are just A LOT of steps. You will need to loosen and tighten and adjust as you're putting it together but it isn't too difficult. I'm a 5'5" 26 year old woman and could do it, so can you! Oh and also, yes, both sides of the panels peel off (the clear part AND the white part). Progress pics after each day.

Time consuming but worth it

The instructions are fine! It's pretty straight forward for the most part. Setup took a lot of time but it looks good! Now it's just a waiting game to see how it's holds up to the wind. ALSO, if anyone is having any leaking issues or the panels staying in place, it definitely states in the instructions on using provided screws to keep panels in place and then to even seal it up after all assembly is finished. We built ours in the image of how we seen other reviews on here. Please please please do not think that the wood comes with this 😅 we added this to provide more structure, to keep it off the ground, and to add more weight

Great quality for the price.

Really nice sturdy greenhouse

Despite what some of the reviews say, this isn't that difficult to assemble. It is straight forward you just need to pay attention to the pictures and double check your work. The finished product is worth it in the end. Just have patience. As some reviews state make sure you have a 10mm nut driver drill bit and 10mm nut driver or socket. it makes a world of difference. I raised mine up with 2x12s and put it on a base made with 4x6s and it's not going anywhere. All in all for the price it is incredible.

Nice little greenhouse

This is a pretty nice greenhouse. It was missing a part which delayed the assembly process midway through, but the company was very responsive and sent the missing piece fairly quickly. I would love if they created a step by step assembly video with close up shots. The printed instructions were not great and a little frustrating at times. We had to take things apart a few times because we assembled them backwards. The shelves are adding and purchased separately. They are a bit pricey and though they work well, they were also difficult to set up and were also missing a part. That said, we are pretty happy with the final product.

Not the best, but works for me!

This seems a tiny bit more flimsy than I expected, but the 6*8 size is perfect and it works for me. Don't forget to buy some shelves if you get this….I am adding them now. So, this photo is not totally set up yet, but my veggies are loving it on this early March day. I don't like the window vent thing at all….very poor design on that. Putting together was not too difficult, we only took things apart a couple of times, we are both fairly logical and mechanically inclined people….but it definitely takes two to do it. And, if you are going to move it after building, move from the top roof bar, which means you might need a tall person to help - it takes two and I am too short. All in all an ok value for the money spent, but I might spend the $1300. For a really good one vs this if I had know what it was like ahead of time.

Great greenhouse

We just got our second one to store our plants in during the winter. This greenhouse is great and has survived 2 major cat 4 & 5 hurricanes (with the help of a few tie straps). Very impressed and would recommend it!

A nice affordable greenhouse, but best of luck building it.

This greenhouse honestly is a good value for the price, but putting it together is an absolute NIGHTMARE. The engineer who designed the extruded aluminum frame pieces was either going through a very hard time, or had an imagination beyond comprehension. This took an engineer and industrial designer 3 (not full) days to fully assemble. The instruction packet was 67 (!!) pages long, with not one single word in it. IKEA from hell. Also, build a solid heavy base, and bolt the thing straight to it, or it will end up in the neighbor's yard during the next windstorm. Good luck!

We shall see….

Manual says half a day to assemble - that's funny. Maybe if you've assembled 10 of them in the last week? It took 2 people about 20 hours. Make sure you look at the photos closely. And do NOT tighten everything down until you're done. Your panels won't fit correctly if you do. Being on a level surface is helpful. We built ours in the garage, it'll be set on the deck and anchored. We live in northern Michigan where we get a lot of snow. I'll let you know how it lasts through that. Good luck!

Perfect backyard greenhouse

Perfect size (6'x8' ) and look for our backyard corner. Good quality and well worth the cost. With two people with no prior experience assembling a structure this large and with this many parts, it took us all of 10 hours (not including ground preparation, wooden frame construction and paver flooring installation). Arrived with no damaged nor missing parts. Definitely invest in earth anchor tie downs if you live in the windy midwest like we do. Shelving units and mesh shading cloth, both from Palram, are also recommended for storage and hot days. Dwarf lemon trees are loving the greenhouse!

Great Product for the Price but you need to put the time into the build

The price on this greenhouse is great and the quality of the materials seems good. The instructions are basic at best and are really just pictures that you need to interpret. If you are good at building things and have a reasonable level of knowledge on how things should fit together, you will be able to build this. If you have never built some thing like this before, you will struggle. It takes two people at a minimum to build this realistically and three is ideal. It will take you some time to put this together. Plan to spend at least a full day with a 2nd day left to "touch" things up. This greenhouse is very light and will not stay put in any amount of wind. Having said that, it is very good in wind if it is properly secured to a strong base/foundation. I used a pressure treated 4x6 frame as the base and secured it to the ground with 36 inch rebar hammered into the soil. I also used a high strength cable wrapped over the the top of the greenhouse and bolted to the wood base. This is REQUIRED in my opinion to give your greenhouse the strength required to survive higher winds. I think it's rated to 30 or 40 mph windspeed if anchored well. So far, we have had strong winds and this greenhouse has been fine. I am still a little skeptical about how it will hold up to wind speed in excess of 40 mph but that is a risk I was willing to take. Take your time while you are assembling and this should serve you pretty well.

Looks great!

I have to admit that it was a bit of a challenge at the start. But I didn't get in a hurry, and we are thrilled with the end result. Just what we wanted, And didn't have too many setbacks. Two broken parts, Customer Service was great, and replace them quickly. No charge for replacement and the parts were fedex in 4days. Thanks Palram

Excellent value for the money. Fairly well built.

I read the other reviews and took a chance. When I got it I got real nervous because how small the box was and how relatively light it was. When I opened the box, I nearly sent it back because I thought it was going to be junk ... glad I didn't. I just finished assembling it today and putting the optional Palram anchor kit on it. After that, I feel confident it could withstand an F1 hurricane! The instructions aren't the best, but if you take your time and think twice, you can't mess up. I had to undo a couple steps once or twice, but otherwise it went together pretty well. My only major criticism is that they didn't include any lock washer. I may go back and add some now that it's built or use Loctite thread locker. While it is possible to do about 95% of the build by yourself, I would recommend getting a helper for a couple steps (like putting the center roof beam up), otherwise, 1 person can easily do it. Make sure you have a step ladder unless you are 6'6" like me, but even then, I had to get one to put the anchor kit on.As I said, when I first opened the box, I thought to myself, no way this thing would be sturdy, but I was wrong. Once you lock things in place, it really gets sturdy. I was surprised. I built mine on a small wooden deck and screwed it down with 20 drywall screws with washers and I'm fairly sure that would hold it unless you are in a windy area (like me), in which case, having the anchor kit, which goes over top the whole thing, will hold it down. The plastic panels are surprisingly tough and doesn't appear they will pop out in the wind ... speaking of which, do NOT try to put the panels in when the wind is more than 5 or 8 mph. I tried, it gets dicey. Build the rest of the frame and then come back to slide the panels in when there is no wind. This should hold up with light snow on it, I'll soon now in 8 or 9 months from now.

Good Little Greenhouse-With Reinforcement

I knew this greenhouse would not be able to handle tricky Michigan weather, so I added many modifications. It's a nice sturdy building now! I used alot of gorilla caulk, 6 mil, heavy-duty frame to foundation bolts, lastly, strapped her down. The directions need work. Wrong numbers on parts did not help. There needs to be illustrations that say "inside" or "outside" because most times your flying blind. To many put up, take down events because of poor directions. Mine is the 6' x 8' x 7'. There's plenty of room for my needs.

The little greenhouse that could

I had a large area to lay out parts, which where well labeled and all accounted for. This went up in one day, but if you have an uneven surface, i can see where this may be problematic, thus i built a platform to make sure. At no point in time did any piece NOT fit properly, again, i think the importance of a level ground. Fun project for myself and kids to assemble. We do get some wind gusts here, so I installed the over the top cable anchors as well, so we shall see. Overall, i was concerned when i saw the size of the box it arrived in as it was small, but as you can see, its as described.
